I live 3 miles away from the manager, and stayed there for 2 nights last year when my house was termite tents. Here is the web address: http://www.managohotel.com/

It is very clean, very quiet and very cheap. They have a sea view from your balcony. The food is good and cheap, if it seems to eat a dining room, where you. They have a koi pond and Japanese garden, but small. No TV in your room! Only one person in the TV room, a little boring. Japanese Very friendly owners and all the hotel has the atmosphere of the 50s. I recommend a stay. But be careful, you need a car to move, because there are few places where you want to go. And if so, you have employed your way along the 2-way. Ok here are the services in the area, if you decide to do it: a Mexican restaurant, Chinese cuisine, Honduras (?), Food, the ice cream shop, pizzeria, shop for local art gadgets list hardwarre a tent and a food market, a baseball field, a Hawaiian Botanical Gardens (Highly Rerents), an antiques shop, a gas station, a hamburger grill, a police station, fire department.
Near Kealakekua Bay and cheaper than any B & B in the neighborhood. No condos in vicintiy cost about 20 miles. No reserve requirements, and you can always find a room. Never did I not see a sign outside successor. Echoes of "Japan-room is the best.
